	This is an aluminum tank, 20.5 liters that survived the crash of the Hindenburg. It must have been a spare from the hold. It held "Kaiser Fredrich Quelle" (spring water) see wine list.
It would have set in a cradle in the bar, with a faucet on the bottom end, and a CO2 connection on the top. It evedidentally was picked up by someone at the crash site.		The X shaped dents were from the girders which were painted with turquoise lacquer. It is welded aluminum with 2 machined fittings.
	I purchased it from the Beachcomber Book shop, Blaine WA, in 1968. Included in the sale are: Ticket, stationery, envelope, and samples of L-49 fabric with letter.
