The San Francisco Fox Theatre, built a cost of $5 million dollars, opened in 1929. It was considered by many to be the worlds finest theatre. You now have a chance to own a piece of history from this magnificent building.

At the head of the Grand Staircase in the first mezanine hung this truely unique light fixture. It is one of a kind and is a representation of three non-FOX motion picture studios: The republic eagle, RKO lightning, and the Universal globe.

The 24 spears radiating from the equator of the globe are hand made crystal. The detail in the eagle is hand chased. All of the brass metalwork is antique gold plated, even the lamp sockets! The RKO lightning uses six 15 watt flame lamps. The world uses three standard 60 watt lamps. The gingerbread that goes with it is a close relica of the original.
